Always good to come home, and for the first time in awhile, we arrived home on time. The plane actually landed about 15 minutes early, but the gate wasn't ready, and so we spent almost that entire time waiting, finally getting out a couple minutes early.
A nice drive home, good to see the family, and glad I'm not scrambling to get any work done. I'm ready for a nice glass of wine and a quiet evening.
New Orleans wasn't really my thing, I liked Baton Rouge and the LSU campus, though the humidity was a bit much. I would definitely need to shoot inside all the time there. However it made me appreciate Denver, and while it's hot here, the dry heat feels so much better.
Now if it would just stop raining. Apparently it rained a bit while I was gone, and I got bit by 3 mosquitoes in the 5 minutes I spent talking to Tia by the barn. There are even mushrooms growing in the grass in places. Crazy.
