Scary, and disappointing. I tried connecting to the home server just before we left for the UK and it was donw. I didn't have time to mess with it, so I rebooted it. I wanted to move some files last night, so I tried to connect, and it was down. I went over and on reboot it was accessing the CD. I checked and the Home Server CD was in there, so I removed it.
A reboot this morning, with the monitor on, showed that there was a "disk read error" on the machine.
Doh!
Not sure what's wrong, and I can't mess with it this am, but I'll take it apart later, check the disk, see if there's something I can do. Hopefully no data is lost. I don't think there's anything on there not on another machine, but I was consolidating media there, so having it down is a little scary.
