At least for the adults for this season. We played our second tournament match last night and lost, but did well. We had a 20-18 lead in the first game, losing 23-21 in a close one. Just a few mistakes in returning serves. Obviously something we need to work on. Our second game was 21-14, not as close, but fun.
It’s been a good season, but I am ready to call it quits. My knees were aching a bit, and I think it’s just been too much activity, and too much pounding on pavement on a few weeks. So I need a break, and am going to take it easy for a few weeks.
I’ve enjoyed the season, and we’ve had a lot of laughs. I hope that we play again, and I’d look forward to next season with this groups of old-timers.
