The second book in the Synchronicity war picks up where the first one ended, actually starting with the last chapter of the first book repeated. I like that technique.
The war is going badly and Shiloh continues to have visions. He manages to fend off problems with Earth, while utilizing the AIs more and managing to defend Earth. However things continue to get worse, and he wonders what to do if the visions stop.
We also get the first hint of time travel here, with the idea that these are messages sent by a machine in the future.
Not great, but an interesting continuation to the series.
