Tequila-Lime Steak

I grabbed a recipe from a cookbook yesterday and went to purchase a few items after dropping the kids off from school. It was for a tequila-lime marinated flank steak with a chipotle citrus sauce. I decided to add guacamole, rice, and beans as well and make it Mexican night at the Ranch.

It turned out well. The store didn’t have flank steaks, but Google pointed me to a few substitutions and I chose tri-tips. Added some fajita vegetables and beans for Tia and Delaney and rice for Kendall.

Overall a good meal, though the sauce was a bit spicy for the kids.
