There were definitely less people out along the river in Cambridge this morning than the last time I ran. That was April, this is December, and there's a touch of snow and ice on the walkway. At 6:30am, it's dark, 32F, and fairly deserted. There were a couple joggers and bikers, and a few dog walkers, but mostly a peaceful run for me.
I'm glad the health club was closed. I was a little chilly, and debated waiting until 7am so I could run inside, being worried about the cold, but with my windbreaker, hat, and pullover, I actually felt good. The thighs were cold on the way back, but it was an enjoyable run.
But it's early. Still somewhat on CO time and struggling to get going this am.
