Early Commute

No sleeping in this Saturday. Delaney was supposed to be down in Castle Rock for a Boy Scouts merit badge college today. When we signed up it seemed like a good way to get him started earning a few, but waking up at 6:45, it seemed like a silly idea.

Tia is doing a race today, so I had to take Kendall along. Fortunately she woke up, we packed up, and raced down to Castle Rock to drop him off at a church down there. Then Kendall and I stopped at Chick-fil-A, grabbed some breakfast, and came home.

And I went to bed. Or tried to. I wanted 30 minutes or sleep, but Kendall kept trying to wake me up, so I finally gave up. I did go running, and hit some mini balls in the basement, trying to be prepared for tomorrow's game (if it doesn't rain). Kendall is now at the neighbor's and I need to run Kahli up for some shots.

Not quite a day off, or it doesn't feel like one.
