8 Years Old

Tonight we had Kendall's birthday party, a pool party in Parker. We were late, actually me, getting invitations out last weekend, and we'd only gotten a couple RSVPs. Fortunately a couple of kids from karate came, one of our neighbors, and we ended up with 6 kids + Kendall. Plenty of food, pizza, which the kids briefly ate, before skipping cake and heading to swim.

We got pictures, but I'm too tired to move them. I watched kids while Tia and Kyle went to get Kendall's other present. We had talked hamster, but when they talked to the pet shop people, she decided on a Guinea Pig as they are not nocturnal, don't bite, and look better. Should thought the hamsters were like mice.

So we now have Buddy, the Guinea Pig, and Kendall is thrilled.

A fairly quiet birthday, but one I think she enjoyed.
