Our Internet service has been flaky for awhile. We had DSL for years, but it was slow and with 5 of us in the house, problematic. The wiring seems bad, so this spring I switched to another provider. We chose Skybeam, which neighbors had, and was a wireless service.
However it was flaky. Our connections from some devices were a little unstable. We’ve changed routers, but Tia especially had issues. Storms have slowed things, and they’ve been out to re-align the dish.
Today, however, was the last straw. Things died overnight and when I called, they saw some issue, but not sure what. A tech came out, and replaced some parts on the dish, but apparently they still had issues at their tower.
So I called Aerux instead. They come out Monday, but it will be a long weekend if the service is down until then.
