We're busy here, but every once in awhile things go crazy and it seems all our schedules collide. I leave tomorrow for Pensacola on a 2:30 flight with Kendall. It's a combination work/vacation trip for the weekend and we get back at 7:30pm Sunday. Tia leaves for a horse class in Pagosa Springs Sunday morning, probably about 7 or 8am. Delaney will get shuffled to a friend's or to her sister's house, and luckily Kyle can fend for himself for the day.
So we'll miss each other, and won't see each other again until Friday night. Then she see's Delaney for a day and a half before he heads to Boy Scout camp next Sunday for a week. I think Tia travels that week as well and the following week we all head to DC, though Tia and Kyle come back on Monday, June 28, with the other three of us in DC until July 4.
It could have been worse. Tia was scheduled to hit Atlanta Tuesday night and return Thursday around 5, missing Kendall and I. So I could have had 2 less days to spend with her.
It has been worse in the past. There was one time that either Tia or I was coming into town from work, the other was leaving a few hours before, and Kyle was returning from a trip to see relatives. We had to have someone meet him at the airport and get him home, staying with him until one of us could get back a few hours later.
Type-A people, busy lives, sometimes it's crazy.
It does really make me appreciate the times that we have nothing going on and can just all hang out in the house.
