The third in the Scarecrow series, this book named for the hero is a bounty hunt, brought on by a secretive group that wishes to create more money and power in the world for themselves. They lure Scarecrow, and many others, to a Soviet abandoned base, supposedly overrun by terrorists. As Scarecrow arrives, he barely escapes with Book II as they realize they’re the target of the bounty hunt. A few others aren’t as lucky.
From there. Scarecrow races around the globe, trying to prevent himself from being killed while saving the world with multiple groups after him. It’s a wild ride.
A re-read for me, but one I still enjoyed.
