In memory of Fajga Fridman and the Holocaust

I saw a friend post a note to https://www.illuminatethepast.org/, a way to light a candle and commemorate the Holocaust. I did it, and got Fajga Fridman, a women killed at 54. The age I will be this year.

A horrible event in human history, and while my family wasn't touched, I can't conceive of how I might feel if they were.

I'm also very blessed. I think about that more and more as I age, and how lucky I have been in life.
